Now in its 15th year, the Florida Keys Heroes Tribute Weekend is our way of saying thank you to the men and women who serve our Nation. Join us this year for a family-friendly weekend full of events and activities celebrating their service.
Get the family and friends together for a one-of-a-kind weekend in Marathon - the boating, fishing and family fun capital of the Florida Keys. From Friday, Sept 1st - Sunday, Sept 3rd, Hawks Cay Resort is hosting their annual Heroes Salute Weekend, three full days of patriotic fun, moving tributes, All-American fireworks, and the chance to show your appreciation to our brave men and women of service.

4:30 - 7:30 PM • Early Packet Pickup for Saturday 5K Run Walk
7 - 10 pm Angler & Ale Rock The Dock with Live Music by Kaira Jayde

Saturday, Sept 2nd
7:00 AM Race to 10:00 AM Heroes 5k Run Walk & Touch a Truck
Race will begin at 7:00 am at Angler and Ale. Registration will start at 6:30 AM in the Angler & Ale Parking Lot. Early packet pickup will be available from 4:30 – 7:30 PM on Friday, September 1st, in the Hawks Cay Lobby. The Heroes 5K Run Walk is open to Hawks Cay Guests, local residents or any other visiting guests of the beautiful Florida Keys. Stick around after for a fun Touch a Truck Event in the Angler & Ale parking lot from 8am – 10am.

7:30 PM • Heroes Tribute
Special presenting guests from Coast Guard Honor Guard, Wounded Warrior organizations, regional and service dignitaries and representatives from Firehouse Subs. Past Heroes Salute special guests have included a NASA astronaut, US Congressmen and several wounded warriors.
7:00pm - 10:00pm Splash & Spark Dinner
Reserve your spot on the Dolphin Deck for dinner, and the fireworks show. With your reservation, you will have access to air-conditioned indoor dining and a viewing deck for the fireworks. Cost is $15 per person. Limited seating available. Email diningreservations@hawkscay.com to reserve.

10:00 PM • Fireworks Show on the Atlantic Ocean
Fireworks Extravaganza! What better way to end a fantastic Heroes Salute Tribute Weekend than watching a patriotic fireworks display over the Atlantic Ocean with the family. Hint - Great viewing areas can be found near the lagoon!

7:00pm – 10:00 PM • Keys to Country Music Series
Enjoy live music performances at our seaside venue! Country music icon Craig Morgan will headline the event. Admission is limited to resort guests only. Reserve your seats by booking our exclusive Heroes package.
Exclusive Heroes Package
Past and present military, police officers, firefighters and medical professionals enjoy discounted rates starting at $169 for two-night stays between August 31-September 5, 2023. This exclusive Heroes package includes access to Keys to Country for an additional $60 per hotel room and $120 per villa reservation on the night of September 3. You'll receive two tickets per hotel reservation and four tickets per villa reservation.
Valid for past and present military, police officers, firefighters and medical personnel. Valid first responder/military ID required at check-in. Additional restrictions may apply.
